It was strongly suggested that I purchase extra coverage, which I did, for the two days I'd have the car. I found out today that my regular insurance would have fully covered the rental and additional coverage was not really necessary. I asked what happens if the rental is extended and I was assured that a call would be made to me asking if I wished to extend the coverage. Two days later I got my car back which was a Wednesday and on the following Saturday my card was charged for another day. The vehicle was covered in dog /cat hair so I sneezed for two days. It started to rain and after turning on the wipers I still couldn't see.. That's what happens when the blades flop around in the breeze and don't even touch the windshield. I won't even detail the stains and smell. I'm calling the manager of this location tomorrow to see what happened with the additional charges.
